Arrival Policy


All services are timed to allow for arrival, consultation, completion, tidying and reset of our work stations. We kindly ask that you remain in your vehicle until the scheduled appointment time as we may not be able to come to the door while servicing other guests .


Guests Policy


No children or additional guests are allowed in studio unless being serviced.


Late & No-Show Policy


Clients are allowed a grace period of up to 10 minutes. Appointments will be cancelled after this period. No-Shows will not be accepted as future clients nor will a refund or deposit credit be provided on missed or no-show appointments.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy


When you book an appointment, our booking  system blocks out that specific time on the service provider’s schedule preventing any other client from booking that time slot. Cancelling, rescheduling or not showing up for a scheduled appointment leaves a gap in the service provider's schedule which could have been filled by another interested client. Cancelling the appointment for any reason within 48 hours or less of the scheduled appointment time means that your service provider may not be able to fill the appointment with a different client costing the provider time and personal wages.


We kindly ask that you ensure your availability prior to reserving service time slots as the cancellation and rescheduling policy will apply to all bookings. Appointments rescheduled for any reason 48 hours or less before the scheduled appointment time will not be eligible for a deposit credit. In such instances the deposit credit will be used to compensate our staff for unforeseen loses in work hours and daily wages.

 

Showing up for an appointment and deciding you no longer want one or more of the services booked is considered a cancellation. You will not be refunded for the service cancelled nor will the deposit payment for the service be credited to a future or alternative lesser valued service. An exception to this policy will only be made in such instances where the client is not a good fit for the service booked for a reason not mentioned on the booking site. Under such circumstances, the deposit credit for that particular service may be applied to an alternative service or product purchase.


Deposit credits will not apply towards a future booking if the client is over 10 minutes late, reschedules an appointment on more than one occasion or flat out cancels a booked appointment. An appointment may be rescheduled without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment start time on one occasion. A new deposit payment will be required hereafter on all future bookings. We will not be able to service clients who have cancelled or rescheduled an appointment more than twice in a six-month period.


Payment Policy


All bookings require submission of a 50% non-refundable deposit payment via our online booking system. Clients are fully responsible for the service time(s) booked; as a result, we will not be able to complete bookings for clients. Cash and local bank transfer payments are the only forms of payment accepted on service balance(s). For our safety, we are not able to keep large amounts of cash on hand. It would be greatly appreciated if exact change was provided when paying balances by cash.

Paying balance by bank transfer? Proof of transfer payment is required immediately following service.

Refund Policy


All sales are final. No refunds will be provided on services or retail items.

Gift Card Policy


All gift card purchases are final and can only be redeemed as store credit on services or retail items. Gift cards expire one year after purchase. Gift card holders are subject to all policies, terms and conditions.

Code of Conduct


We pride ourselves in being able to offer clients safe, professional and enjoyable services. Disrespect of any kind including but not limited to sexual harassment, slander, thief or otherwise will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of service and potential legal pursuit.

 

Age Requirement


Guest under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.


Photo Policy


Photos and videos are taken for the purpose of capturing treatment outcomes and can be used for portfolio building, print, visual, electronic, online and social media marketing, promotion and advertising campaigns. Personal information such as the client's name and place of work will not be mentioned in any of the published material unless otherwise agreed. Tropics Beauty Café has the right to edit or alter captured content in a way that the business deems suitable. All captured content is exclusively owned by Tropics Beauty Café. Clients reserve the rights to request that full face images not be published.
